Type "A" meal consists of 5 components (Must have 3 different components to meet requirements): *Protein - meat/meat substitute (hummus, etc.) *Grain - tortillas, rice, potato, starches *Vegetable - potatoes, corn, peas, spinach *Fruit - unsweetened or natural, frozen fruits *Milk - chocolate, strawberry & white (all fat-free)
**Free/Reduced meal applications are available all year in your school office.
NOTE: Students approved to receive free or reduced lunch benefits are also approved for those same benefits in our breakfast program.
